To be used as a lotion or injection. No. 17. ]]i Potassa3 Permang. gr. 40. Aqua) 0 j. Misce. Make a lotion or injection. The above lotions are all useful in cancerous ulceration of the breast or other part of the body, and as injections in cancerous ulceration of tlie uterus. Nos. 13, IG, and 17 check offensive smell. No. 14 arrests, and alhiys pain both before and after ulceration. No. 15 is useful when there is a tendency to hiemorrhage, and may be used of any strength ; the pure tincture being applied when bleeding is actually taking place. No. 18. 1^ Liquor Arsenicalis 5 ss. vel 5 j. Aqua? 5 j. Make a lotion. Useful in Lupus and some forms of Cancer. No. 19. ip. Liq. Plunibi Subacet., Olei Amygdake, Aquce distil,, aa 5 ij. To be well mixed by shaking. If properly made, the in- gredients will not separate on standing, but form a thick cream-like embrocation.
