![No. 5. I^. Acicli Citrici, Potassse Bicarb, aa 5 ij. Tinct. Aiirautii 5 vj. Aqnce ad 5 viij. Misce. Two tablespoonfuls to be taken every three or four hours. Au excellent saline, and to allay sickness. No. 6. I^. Eailicis Gentianfe incisoB 5 iij- Ptadicis Phei contusce gr. 40. Zinziberis gr. 20. Soda3 Bicarbonatis 3 ss. Aqu?e ferventis Oj. Macerate for four hours, and strain. Dose, two or three tablespoonfals twice or thrice a day. An excellent stomachic. No. 7. ^ Pulv. Calunib£e 5 ijss. Palvc Khei gr. 45. Soda3 Bicarb. 3 ss. Divide into 14 powders, one to be taken in a v/ineglass of water twice a day. Stomachic. After either of the above have been taken for a week or ten days, a patient who could not previously bear tonics will often do so. No. 8. 9: Potassi lodidi gr. ij. vel v. Liq. Potass£e ])i ij. vel v. Infusi Cinchonje 3 j. Misce. To be taken twice or three times a day. Useful in Cancer and Lupus. No. 9. ^ Potassse Nitratis 5 iss. Magnes. Sulph. 3 iss. Pulv. Plioi gr. XX. Misce.
