Ordered, That a Select Committee be appointed to inquire into the state of the Law respecting Sewers in and near the Metropolis, and into the administration of the same by the various Boards of Commissioners of Sewers, with a view to suggest such Amend¬ ments in both as shall be deemed advisable. And a Committee is appointed of— Mr. Ward. Lord Viscount Duncannon. Mr. Grote. Mr. George Frederick Young. Mr. Hawes. Mr. Clay. Sir Francis Burdett. Mr. Hume. Sir Samuel Whalley. Mr. Briscoe. Mr. Edward Lytton Bulwer. Captain Deans Dundas. Colonel Evans. Mr. Tennyson. Mr. Alderman Wood. Mr. Wilks. Mr. Dunlop. Mr. Barnard. Mr. Aglionby. Ordered, That the said Committee have power to send for Persons, Papers and Records. Ordered, That Five be the Quorum of the said Committee. Veneris, 8° die Augusti, 1834.
