About this work

Description

Intertitles explain the problem with the warble fly and how much money is lost to farmers. Illustrations explain how the fly infests its host and then spoil the hides. A maggot is squeezed out of a hide. Cow hides which have previously been infested by warble are shown; a dip is prepared and cattle treated. Dipping is essential in other regions; in Africa and Argentina, the latter with a line-up of gauchos. Ends abruptly.
