Photograph of an oil painting of Sir Andrew Douglas Maclagan (1812-1900), Scottish surgeon and toxicologist, showing head and shoulders. The painting was acquired from Dowell, Edinburgh on 17th June 1916, Lot 126, and accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 8th January 1930 (CC 5107).
