Description

Photograph of an Attic skyphos (two-handled wine cup) from the late 5th century BC decorated with a depiction of the Ancient Greek god Eros pursuing a nymph. The item was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1928 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R364/1936). The item is not held by Wellcome Collection.
