Description

The member of Parliament Joseph Jekyll condemned the expedition in the House of Commons as ineffective, but later withdrew his remarks. The withdrawal was welcomed by Henry Dundas M.P., secretary of state for War (the "Mr D" mentioned in the lettering)--British Museum, loc. cit. The two representations of Jekyll in the print represent his two opposing verdicts on the expedition
