Left: Tibetan silver chatelaine with inlaid turquoise and red beads with five toilette instruments acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1919 (accession number R11418). Right: Hindu set of five iron surgical instruments acquired by the Museum and accession in May 1917 (accession number R6615). Neither item is held by Wellcome Collection.
