No. of such houses erected, ....... 1,746 682 492 666 496 Since the close of last year, and up to 30th April, 112 houses have been com - pleted at Cattofield and Hilton, and 64 additional slum clearance houses have been completed. All the houses erected or proposed to be erected under the Housing Schemes are of a size not exceeding four rooms. Of the 496 houses erected with the aid of a subsidy, 144 contained more than four rooms. On 5th February last, the Town Council decided to proceed with the erection at Linksfield of 284 concrete houses of the two-apartment flatted type (four houses in each block).
