About this work

Description

Third in a five-part series in which Steve Jones examines blood groups and the ways in which they affect people's lives. In this part we find out how blood groups have been used to match Egyptian mummies to their families. We also look at the complex system of blood groups in animals and, occasionally, plants. Finally, does our blood group influence our taste in food or even music?
