Joannes Ortelius. Philos[ophi]e & medicinæ doctor villacensis Carinthiæ, Moravici phys. & med; ordina. Noriber. Nat. 1593. 1646 Seven lines of etched Latin verse below the portrait, headed : "Rite sano vel sino, [Greek] anagrammatikōs" (anagram for Ioannes Ortelius). The verses form an acrostic: the first letters of each line spell Ioannes while the last letters spell Ortelius Portrait in roundel surmounted by coat of arms and surrounded by cherubim, strapwork, swags etc.
