About this work

Description

Francis Galton's notes and draft letters, primarily concerning a disagreement with Walter Heape over the wording of a circular for the Royal Agricultural Society titled "Barrenness Amongst Sheep". A copy of the circular with Galton's annotations is attached to one of the drafts.

An earlier draft of a letter to Weldon is also included, in which Galton proposes a resolution that papers submitted to the Royal Society by Evolution Committee members be considered the responsibility of the author, and not the Committee.
