Box file containing items of ephemera and newspaper / magazine cuttings on a variety of subjects. Filed in acid free sleeves. Mostly German and Austrian from the 1920s and 1930s. Includes: Apothecaries, pharmacy jars, making medicines, pharmacies, plasters (17th century), distilling, physicians, urine inspection, doctor and patients, enema, people lying on sickbeds, plague, St. Sebastian, St. Roch, plague doctor, Vienna Pestsäule monument on the Wiener Graben, quarantine, personal hygiene, toothbrushing, washing, medical examination of school children (London, 1940), influenza cure. Collected by Isidor Fischer, Viennese gynaecologist and medical historian.
