About this work

Description

On the left stands a surgeon who is holding an extracted tooth in his right hand. On the right is a boy who is holding his finger to his mouth to demonstrate that he has just had his tooth extracted. On the table in front of the surgeon is a lancet case, a bowl, and a testimonial with an attached red wax seal
