About this work

Description

Water and sanitation This mother in Lesotho is supervising her child while he washes his hands. An adult or older sibling should help wash the hands of very young children. Hygiene promotion has a positive impact on diarrhoea morbidity. Although hygiene can be promoted where water and sanitation are limited, its impact may be greatest when it is part of an integrated project which includes an improved water supply and better sanitation.
