Imperial Innovations Group plc (known as Innovations) creates, builds and invests in pioneering technology companies and licensing opportunities developed from outstanding scientific research focusing on the "Golden Triangle", the geographical region broadly bounded by London, Cambridge and Oxford. The Group was founded in 1986 as the technology transfer office for Imperial College London; in 1997, it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Imperial College London and in 2006 it was registered on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
