Notes
A live recording of this entire piece (eight hours in duration) was performed at Wellcome Collection, London, in September 2015.
Richter consulted with neurosurgeon David Eagleman with whom he had collaborated before.
In the sleeve notes (to the one hour version) Richter comments that the original eight hour piece was designed to be listened to while the listener is asleep whereas this one hour version is to be listened to whilst awake.
