About this work

Description

In the first item on the programme, Geoff Watts looks at the recent controversy about whether or not the remains of indigenous communities should continue to be kept in the British Museum. The second item is about the nematode worm and investigates whether it contains the secret to long and healthy life. The third item is about the Atacama Desert in Chile, so dry that not even bacteria can survive there. Planetary geologists are using it to research what life on Mars might be like. The final item is about how pollen grains attached to both victims and suspects have helped to solve crimes.
