Description

Sir Henry Dale, in pyjamas with a bandaged head, makes a speech to camera to be played at the Royal College of Physicians dinner. He talks for 40 minutes on subjects ranging from how he hurt his head, to his history and medical work and thanks to a variety of colleagues. The tape also includes recordings of after dinner speeches by Sir Charles Dodds, Sir Linda Brown, Roy MacIntosh and Sir John Eccles.
