Description

Written by the same hand throughout. There are a few later additions by other hands, including a few by Georg Stekermayr whose signature is on the recto of the first leaf. The title given above is that written on the verso of the first leaf by another anonymous owner and dated 17/6/1845. Contents: pp. 1-70. Miscellaneous medical, technical, household and cookery receipts. 71-101. Allerhandt andere Kunst und Merckwurdigkeiten. 103-121. Von der Gärtnerey und allerhandt Kraitlwerckh. 123-128. Vom Fischen. 129-138. Golt und Silber zu machen. Register (2 unnumbered ll.). 139-202. Neuzugericht und vermehrt wie auch in villen verbesserte und mehrsten theils approbirte Ross-Arzney. 203 Character oder Zeichen des Apotheker-Gewichts. Register über dass Ross-Arzney Buchlein (2 ll.). At the end are some receipts by several late 18th cent. or early 19th cent. hands, and the address in Augsburg of a Philipp Jacob Schür, who made a special balsam.
