Biographical note

In 1935 The Pioneer Health Centre, better known as the Peckham Experiment, opened in South East London. Run as a family club, it was an experiment by Dr George Scott Williamson and Dr Innes Pearse to discover and promote the growth of positive health. Almost 60 years later it still provides an important model for a healthy society, where the quality of health and vitality is important.
