Description
The MRC Committee on the Medical and Biological Applications of Nuclear Physics Protection Subcommittee was chaired by Sir Ernest Rock Carling in 1946. Cooperation was established with the Ministry of Labour and National Service's Advisory Panel on Radiology. The Committee was concerned with protecting workers, patients exposed to x-rays, and other individuals exposed to radioactive substances, as well as monitoring radioactive exposure. Panels of the Committee included the Panel concerned Standardised Record Forms, report of Panel concerning Standardised Record Forms, Tolerance Doses Panel.
