Description

"Sir" Jeffrey Dunstan was an itinerant hawker of wigs who was elected "mayor" of Garrett Common, Tooting, in 1785. "As an adult he had knock knees, a large head, and grew to a height of only 4 feet" (Oxford dictionary of national biography)
