(1) Statisties and Sooial Conditions , Area Resident Population (R.G’s estimate) Number of Inhabited Houses 28,073 acres. 12,930 3,729 Rateable V&lue £49,761. Sum represented by a Penny Rate £205. The chief industries in the area are:- (1) Agriculture, (2) Coalmining, (3) Brickmaking, (4) Stone-ware and Pipe making aid (5) Stone Querryino.
