The letter 'R', with a circle containing a dot, can be found in the bottom left-hand corner: it is identified by Weigel as the stamp of Jonathan Richardson on the drawing, though the monogram differs from Richardson's marks reproduced in F. Lugt, Les marques de collections de dessins & d'estampes, online edition
