Dedicated to God [Texts]. 11-50 Farm, legal, and school accounts with churchwarden's bills: by several 18th cent. hands. These include 'A catalogue of my books 170 5/6' (l. 19). The accounts date from 1743 to 1748. There are also numerous scribblings in which the name of 'John Badcock' appears several times, mostly in a youthful script. 51-58 Contain medical receipts by several 17th and 18th cent. hands, some of which are perhaps by Elcocke.

1 volume 136 pp. + 58 ll. + 6 interpolated ll. 8vo. 14 x 91/2 cm. Original calf binding, with gold-stamped arabesque centre-ornament on both covers, flanked by the letters I and H. Most of the 43rd unpaginated leaf has been torn away. A foliation of the unnumbered leaves has been added: this excludes the interpolated leaves mentioned in the collation.
