Advertised as "just published" in the Independent chronicle, Boston, March 20, 1783, and as a "new publication" in the Boston evening post, March 29, 1783
The charter has caption: Commonwealth of Massachusetts ... 1781. An act to incorporate certain physicians, by the name of the Massachusetts Medical Society
Originally published as Letter LXIII in the author's "View of society and manners in Italy."
With three final pages of advertisement

NLM copy has a leaf of MS. notes in c19 hand bound at end: passage copied from An annual register, or, A view of the history, politics, and literature for the year 1775. London, 1780, p. 38, relating to the the poet Thomas Gray and the 1742 death of his friend Richard West from "the most flattering of all distempers, a consumption".
