About this work

Description

The spoon end could have been used to measure out and give liquid medical treatments. The pick could have been used to probe, examine or clean the body. It was not unusual for surgical and medical instruments to have two uses. Made from bronze, the greenish deposits have been caused by corrosion. maker: Unknown maker Place made: Roman Republic and Empire
