Description
Centre, two women holding crowns kneel before the preserved body of the saint in the Monastero del Corpus Domini, Bologna. Around, twelve episodes in the life of Saint Catherine, including her painting a picture of the Virgin (bottom left), writing one of her treatises (upper left), giving food to a pilgrim (bottom right), being canonized by Pope Clement XI in 1712 (lower right), and playing the violin (upper right)
