GDR Working Party planning correspondence

Correspondence of the GDR Working Party, mostly relating to the proposed Grantly Dick-Read centenary publication and centenary reception, as well as other centenary plans, including planning of the GDR plaque and GDR Memorial Fund. Correspondence relates to the collection of research for the publication, requests for sponsorship, and planning of the celebrations, as well as follow-up and thank-you letters after the event. Also includes letters from mothers sharing their birth experiences and memories of Grantly Dick-Read. Papers include drafts of programme, paper on possible sponsorship, planning notes and updates. The majority of the papers date from 1989-1990, but also includes photocopies of some earlier correspondence from Grantly Dick-Read from the 1940s.
