(The Metropolitan Benefit Societies' Asylum) The Mirror ... Lettering continues with lengthy description of the activities of the institution founded (in 1829) for the care of aged and infirm members of benefit societies. This building, still situated on Ball's Pond Road, was designed by the architect S.H. Ridley
