'The causes of blindness in childhood'

This subsection presents material assembled by George Fraser in the course of preparing his M.D. thesis and then his book, The Causes of Blindness in Childhood. A study of 776 children with severe visual handicaps, by G. R. Fraser and A. I. Friedmann, with a preface by L. S. Penrose (Johns Hopkins Press, Baltimore, 1967). The thesis is at PP/GRF/C.8, and the book at PP/GRF/G.14.

The material is nearly all case files arranged by causes of blindness. Fraser presented these in an alphabetical sequence with each letter corresponding to a chapter in the book, and this has been followed here. See also PP/GRF/E.30.
