Lettering

Vis a vis. ... Design'd & etch'd by D.T. Egerton. Lettering continues: "It may sometimes be necessary to pay a visit to the country (rus in urbs) in order to avoid the importunities of an unceremonious creditor, should your ill stars throw you plump in his face in turning a corner you may find it no trifling bore; and will curse the inflexibility of your contenance, which spite of your attempts at distortion, will not suffer you to pass without recognition."
