Description

'[H]ypoglykaemic vertigo'. '[H]ypoglykaemic headache' and comparison with oth [?er vertigo] and hea[dache]. Theory of the 'nervous' or 'difficult' child needing extra sugar or a more abundant diet, etc. Hypoglycaemia and hibernation in animals. The whole subject of hypoglycaemia. Hypoglycaemia (hyperinsulinism) as possible cause of epilepsy and narcolepsy. Hyperinsulinism of various causation (Polynesia of Roch and Askanasy). Insulin shock in the treatment of schizophrenia etc. For comparison: convulsive therapy and shock therapy of various kinds for schizophrenia, mania and other conditions. One reason why habits in regard to diet often become hard to overcome (referring to subject of hypoglycaemia)
