Notebook containing notes, possibly taken from lectures by a medical student, on surgery, paralyses of childhood and other medical topics. Enclosed: loose pages of book references in shorthand.

This notebook was received in July 1990 via the Records Preservation Section of the British Records Association, to which it was bequeathed by the late Miss Eileen Quinlan of 10 Dongola Road, Bishopston, Bristol.

At Wellcome Collection: a second notebook from the same source but apparently unrelated, dated 1892, is in the Western Manuscripts collection (MS.5983)
