Stress and the adaptation syndrome : a medical teaching film by Normal P. Schenker and Leo L. Leveridge.

A film which endeavours to explain stress, as conceived by the Hans Selye, by re-enacting some of the original experiments which led him to his concept. Stress is shown as the state which exists, for instance, when an organism reacts to strong stimuli or damage. The film also shows some of Dr. Selye's subsequent experimental observations which relate to the etiology and therapy of the disease.
