Description

Alabastron (large) flattened bottom,light buff clay tending to brown; added red. 'Boread' with spread sickle-shaped wings, running to r.; crouching lion to r., head turned, left paw raised. Big resettes (none with centres), blobs; one rosette incised with outward-opening arcs, as in vases of the Scale-Pattern Group (style otherwise different). Bands - dots - tongues dicing - frieze//. Odd, rather 'wild' stylr, with some unique features, but surely Corinthian
