About this work

Description

The central question explored in Until is, if you could live forever, when would you choose to die? This documentary created by the Publishing department of the Wellcome Trust is inspired by one of the five challenge areas; Investigating development, ageing and chronic disease . The viewer is engaged in a discursive journey which combines expert opinion with vox pops from children and the elderly. A man who reduces his calorie intact in order to prolong his life talks about immortality. The video is intercut with images shot in a coffin-making workshop.
