    it be for temporary absence from the Asylum of indi¬ vidual Patients on leave, or for some of them to be taken out together for exercise or recreation, in confor¬ mity with section 124 of the said Act. 2. —The meetings of the Committee shall be on the third Thursday in each month, unless a different day be appointed. 3. —Patients on their admission shall generally be placed in the Infirmary, and they shall be removed to and from the Infirmary, as may be directed by the Medical Superintendent. 4. —The Medical Superintendent (and in case of his absence, his Deputy) is empowered at his discretion to grant temporary leave of absence to any Patient for whom he may think it desirable, for any term not exceeding 14 days. If the absence is for a whole day or more, the leave must be given in writing, and a note of it entered in the Journal.
