About this work

Description

3T3 cells growing in culture. They have been stained to show the actin cytoskeleton in green and the DNA in red. The cell to the centre right is undergoing cell division and shows the two sets of chromosomes that have pulled apart from each other. The cell is starting to pinch in across the centre and will split to form two new cells.
