    the difficult labour ? and may not hydrocepha- lus in the latter instances be the consequence of the pressure which the children’s heads had suffered during delivery ? Upon the whole, I should rather suppose that in most cases the disease existed before the birth of the child, and that the tedious or difficult labour was to be imputed to the preternatural size of the head. Of the Changes as to Size and Shape which the Head 5undergoes during the different stages of Hydrocephalus Chronicus.
