The head is the original, and the property of Captain E.J. Collings of the Obidense Red Cross Line ... 1899 Lettering handwritten in ink on verso of mount, continues with address of owner of head: 3 Deradent Road, Honeycroft, Liverpool [i.e. Derwent Road, Stoneycroft, Liverpool?]
