Notes

These recordings are unedited, therefore often start and end quite abruptly.
This tape is part of a collection donated to Wellcome Trust by Dr. Arthur Hollman in 2007. The tapes contain oral history interviews conducted by Dr Hollman between 1974 and 1990 with a grant from the Wellcome Trust. The interviews are largely with former colleagues and pupils of Sir Thomas Lewis and two are with Lady Lewis. They provide an invaluable source of first-hand information about Lewis and the medical world during his time, with personal recollections going back as far as 1920.
This is recorded at a low level with some background hum.
