Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves. Includes a set of cigarette cards issued by W.D. & H.O. Wills in 1913 showing how to administer first aid, bandaging techniques, dealing with fractures, artificial respiration, carrying wounded or unconscious people, make emergency stretchers, deal with burns and bleeding, gunshot, remove objects from the ear, eye and finger and some basic anatomy. Also a gummed stamp advertising Inhabadgesellschaft MbH.'s resuscitation apparatus mentioning the 1913 London Congress of Internal Medicine and Manufacture Moderne de Pansements' plaster bandages for setting fractures (1952), Linea Verde, Lu.Si. Medical and Assistenza Medica a Domicilio (first aid services at home, Rome 2011), card giving 5 points that must be achieved to win a Boy Scouts 'first aider' badge, 'First aid for life' training (2015), 'Cuts and gashes can kill' (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, 1950s?), 'Antiseptics, what you need to know in an emergency' (Iodine Educational Bureau, London : World War 2).
