    GENERAL PROSECUTIONS. The prosecutions for the year were as under:— Preservatives in Food (Mince), 4 Defence (Gen.) Regulations, 1939, Paras. 3 and 5 of Reg. GO A.B., 1 Food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act (Milk) 2 Section 115 of Burgh Police (Scotland) Act, 1892 1 Total, 8 Detailed particulars of each are given under the various heads. In conclusion I would again express my thanks for the assis- tance received from other Departments of the Corporation and to my staff for the manner in which they carried out their manifold duties.
