The issue features Wonder Woman in space in a story about male violence to women. There is a scene of her geting dressed, working out in gym kit, her companion being undressed by brutish alien (male) captors and then blasted in the face by a gun, sustaining severe injury. They are both taken to a prison world with "a million prisoners, all women". The cover [by Brian Bolland] "Wonder Woman in chains!" shows her "in chains", beaten and nearly naked.
