The proprietor not having time to make a drawing from this picture in the Houghton Collection on account of their being purchased by the Emperess of Russia. That so capital a print should not be left out of this collection the late Bishop of Bristol gave leave to make a drawing from his original picture by the same master. Guido Reni pinxit.
