About this work
Description
A dictionary of simple and compound medicines with alphabetical arrangement. Each entry includes: a vocalization of the name of the medicine, its physical description (e.g. colour and texture) as well as remarks on its origin (Indian, Persian, Greek etc.). Some entries also have a brief description of the properties of the medicine.

15 lines. Shikastah script (professional hand). Subtitles in red. Oriental paper (laid lines only). Lacunae (gaps) at the beginning, after f.32 and at the end. Leather half-bound (damaged). Undated (late A.H. 12 / A.D. 18th cent.).
