About this work

Description

Certificate for quarterly attendance published by Denbighshire Education Authority in 1910 for what looks like a Red Cross first aid or nursing training course. The certificate shows a large colour illustration of Florence Nightingale in a hospital tent (presumably during the Crimean War) handing a glass of water to a bedridden soldier, lamp in her right hand. Another two soldiers look on from the background.
