Following the first 2 annual reports (January and December 1866), the Northern Counties' Asylum for Idiots and Imbeciles was called the Royal Albert Asylum

Cleaton), report of the honorary engineer (James Mansergh), the auditors' report (Thomas Howitt, William G. Welch), financial and statistical statements, a list of clergymen and ministers, presents received, census of idiots and imbeciles, a summary of contributions (James Diggens) and an illustration of the asylum.
